  This is a very unusual motel. It put me in mind of Army berricks. Was I ever surprised! There are several buildings, 3,story high. The rooms are big and roomy. The 2 bedroom efficiency was very nice! The view of the beach and ocean was really good. I can't say enough good things about the office staff. The only bad thing, for us, was the steps, They are outside and it was hard for me. I would go back.

  Lovely place, lovely staff. Room is large, airy, well-kept, and on the beach with an ocean view as I requested. I asked for quiet and an outdoor balcony, and they delivered. It's a simple, clean building and layout, 3 stories at most and wood shingled. I have a king bed, mini fridge, microwave, and toaster. I'm very happy and got exactly what I wanted. I plan to return next summer. Buxton is great, food, groceries, liquor store, shops and a salon all close by. I highly recommend.
